As a young girl I always wanted to be around horses, so I started at a riding school close by. The older I got the more interested I was. Until after a few years I bought my first own horse when I was 16 years old.

Once I started university I knew that I wanted to do something with horses but never knew what to study for this. So I tried several different options and after a while, I found the right school. I started studying business for the equestrian sports. These 4 years prepared me for setting up my own business. I had different kinds of internships in this study such as Accountancy and working in the stables. In my 3th year I even did a semester abroad in Canada which was a whole experience!

When I came back from Canada, I wanted to travel more and see more of the world. So I decided to quit school before graduating and chasing my dreams. There is so much more to learn from the world and all it’s different countries that I could not let this opportunity slip. After I feel like I have seen enough of the world for a while, then I can finish my school and “really” start my business.

In 2021, I started a course at the KNHS, which is the national federation for the equestrian sport in the Netherlands. In this course we got thought about managing, developing a vision, motivating, responsibility, organizing and coaching. This was dividend in different masterclasses that I intended. For example we went to Jumping Amsterdam and learned a lot about managing a big event. But we also had our own stand at Horse Event, which is a big event in the Netherlands with different kinds of clinics. We had to organize our own clinic as well.

From these masterclasses I ended up in the federations bond for the Provence as a volunteer. I was responsible for the social media and the website. I changed the whole website and made it more clear for the users. But it would not be me if this would be enough, so I started as a chairman for the Young KNHS of our Provence and organized several different events.

As I told before, I want to start my business once I am back in school. But that does not make sense at all. I have more time now to set things up and look through everything, so outside of working a lot, I decided to just get started! Follow along the journey to read all about my adventures and everything that I learn along the road.
